Meet Your Dentist, Dr. Mellor.

Dr. Mellor was raised in Colfax, Washington, and is excited to be home and serve the community he loves. His wife, Lindsay, manages our clinic.

About Dr. Mellor & Lindsay Mellor

Dr. Mellor was raised in Colfax, WA. He went to Southern Virginia University for his undergraduate degree where he played football and graduated with a degree in business management. After SVU, he attended the University of Washington Dental School on a military scholarship.

Upon graduation, he started his military payback at Camp Humphreys in South Korea. After he and his family enjoyed two years there, they moved to Maryland where he was stationed at Walter Reed Hospital for another two years. He then decided it was time to come back to his hometown and settle down with his wife, Lindsay, and four kids. He took over the clinic from Dr. Allen Kirkpatrick in July of 2019.  He is excited to be here serving the community he loves.

About Dr. Ellis and Katelyn Ellis

Dr. Ellis was raised in Colfax, WA. He went to Corban University for his undergraduate degree where he went on to get a Health Science degree in Biology.  He worked on house remodels, woodworking, and enjoyed playing intramural sports in his off time. After Corban, he married Katelyn. After Corban Brady built homes for Renstrom homes where he was able to enjoy learning how to frame and finish houses. He enjoyed the aspect of creating something beautiful from the ground up, an important aspect that he still carries into his patient care.  Dr. Ellis attended the University of Iowa after his undergraduate program for his doctorate to become a dentist.

Upon graduation, Katelyn and Brady moved back to the area to serve and be a part of the community they grew up in. They continue to enjoy attending sporting events in the community and are always looking for a new adventure. Katelyn and Dr. Ellis will be welcoming their first newborn son in January of 2023.

His wife, Lindsay, manages the dental clinic. She was mostly raised in Southern Idaho, but attended high school in Southern Nevada. She attended Southern Virginia University on a softball scholarship and graduated with a degree in business management and leadership. Many moves and four kids later, she graduated with a Masters Degree in exercise science- human performance. She is very excited to be settling down in Colfax and establishing some roots here. She has come to love the Palouse over the few short stints they have had living here and is happy to serve and be a part of the community. They are now living happily in Colfax with their five kids.

They are looking forward to being parents and to be in the community that helped to raise them. They look forward to raising their son in the same county they were fortunate to grow up in.

His wife, Katelyn, teaches in the St. John school as a Title teacher. She was raised in Garfield Washington and attended high school in Oakesdale Washington. She attended Corban University where she graduated with elementary education degree. Katelyn is excited to be settled with her husband in the Whitman County. She enjoys visiting friends and family and enjoys assisting in coaching on the St. John Volleyball high school team.
